I am on a binge of watching comics related stuff this week.
I'm entirely behind the times, but ended up watching most recent Incredible Hulk movie while working on sculpting monsters.
Yes, Hulk SMASH. some more SMASH.
Hulk…put out fire by depriving it of oxygen!
I about snorted my tea out my nose when that happened.
Ravening brute incapable of thought, my ass.
Imagine what Hulk could do with a lever, pulley, or inclined plane. HULK USE BASIC MACHINE!
I'm also watching Birds of Prey on DVD which I am having a love hate relationship with. I DO like the characters and the general set up, HATE the theme song and opening credits, and haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate Huntress' outfits. I didn't remember the theme music being this terrible and ... squishy soft rocky girl power when it aired. Looking at the wikipedia page they apparently replaced the original theme music in the DVD release. UM YEAH, THAT MUSIC WAS WAY BETTER. wtf is this shit on the DVD release.
Original music:
as to the outfits....

yeah, this is one of the least ridiculous outfits she wears.
I am going to go with Dr. Quinn stealing all the good costumes. ALL OF THEM.

ALL THE GOOD COSTUMES.
yes, Dr. Harley Quinn is indeed the big bad in the series. AND HAS ALL THE GOOD OUTFITS.
Huntress spends almost the entire series fighting in the most ridiculous looking outfits. even sillier than most comic book outfits. like victoria's secret type gear OVER other clothes.

I honestly don't even remember this series airing...I guess they didn't really push the comic book link or spend a lot at SDCC promoting it.
Is it just hot women in hero-outfits fighting goons and thugs? Or are there supervillains as well (ie, costumed guys or creatures)?
The computer stuff is SLIGHTLY dated, but not terrible yet. They're right about at present expensive level tech that's reasonably plausible rather than near future, not currently available tech that they were using when series was airing.
Most of the baddy goons are dude, the higher ups are almost all ladies, which is interesting set up. there's some fairly interesting metahumans in there, but majority are standard criminals.
One of the more interesting ones in a guy that can turn into water, who robs armored cars and drowns people by liquifying over their face and crawling into lungs. Its kind of awesome, also kind of gross. They briefly science at him!
Harley is entirely the most awesome part of this. She considers psychology her fun hobby, like knitting, and actually tells another supervillian that when they question why the hell she has a "normal" job. Look I can fix them OR break them! how fun!
It's really odd, because the other thing on the DVD set is a web series called Gotham Girls which has the more familiar Batman: animated versions of the characters with Harley as Poison Ivy's ditzy foil.
The live action really goes for angle of her really starting out smart and clever and then just going off the deep end into sociopath territory. So can do a real good job playing normal when it suits her. she's actually Huntress' court appointed therapist (anger management) and gets consulted as a profiler by the police. and is meanwhile off plotting evil. (and yes, she's equally in the dark on she's talking to superhero for most of the series.)

Hulk was basically supposed to be a scientist, wasn't he? I think I remember seeing something about that in a Hulk movie several years back, although I can't place the details at the moment. Somehow that keeps getting played down.
